Welcome

Welcome to the Multimedia Computing and Computer Vision Lab at the Institute of Computer Science at the University of Augsburg. The Multimedia Computing and Computer Vision Lab focuses on the theory and the computational aspects of media data especially media mining.

Note: Based on the requests of the students the teaching language is German despite that the slides and reading material is in English.

(+) The term "Multimedia II" does not imply that "Multimedia I" is required. The idea is that the students should be offered a standard 4+2 lecture from us as well as standard 4+2 lecture from Prof. Andre (which we coined "Multimedia I: ..."

News

The Multimedia II: Media Mining exam in the winter term 2011/2012 is scheduled for Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 10am to 12pm. It will be held together with the Probabilistic Robotics exam so please keep an eye on the course website for changes.

Starting SS 2011 the graduate lecture "Multimedia II: Media Mining" can be credited either as a database lecture or a multimedia lecture. (In Deutsch: "Multimedia II" kann im Master entweder als Multimediaveranstaltung oder als Datenbankveranstaltung eingebracht werden"!)
